When we were getting ready for the Charlotte 48-Hour Film Project this past summer, we scouted a number of locations in beautiful Belmont, NC. Among them was the Wells Fargo building on Main Street, a gorgeous three-story building erected in the 1930’s. This was the setting for our award-winning entry: Clocking Out.
We discovered that the building had a large, unused, and incredibly creepy basement. As it turns out, we didn’t really need that effect for Clocking Out, but it was a setting so perfect we knew we wanted to come back to it.
In September, we realized that we still had time to enter the 100 Words Film Festival, and decided to put the Wells Fargo Building basement to use by creating a horror flick.
We’re very excited to announce that our film has been chosen as an official selection at the 100 Words Film Festival, which will take place in Charlotte, NC on November 6 & 7.
